The Emory Language Lab is a service and collective effort of the Emory College Language Center, the Information Technology Division and the Woodruff Library. The language lab provides use of computers, language software, and digital presentation resources to the Emory community with priority given to those students enrolled in language courses and those faculty teaching language courses.
Lab Assistance
Language Lab assistants are available during Fall and Spring semesters to help with questions about using the language software and computers in the lab. The lab assistants at the service desk also have software CDs, DVDs, and hardcover dictionaries and references available for users in the lab.
Language Lab Computers, Sofware, and Books
Lab resources include 17 computers (8 Mac/9 PC) with flat-panel
monitors and language support for web-browsing and word-processing
in non-roman languages (Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, Korean,
Japanese, Persian, Russian, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Yiddish). We also have over 50 dictionary and other book references for many languages.
