About The Social Science Computing Center Classroom

The Classroom was created during the Summer 2005 renovation and has many innovative, advanced features to support a wide range of computer-based instruction. Rather than static workstations, the classroom uses laptops and easily-repositioned desks for up to 25 students. The instructor's podium has all the features of an Emory "Level 1" smart classroom--plus a "Sympodium" SMART display panel. The classroom is used for those classes that benefit from computer-intensive instruction, such as statistics classes and computer-based presentations.
